Seven Springs Halloween Party

Time: 9pm – 2am

UPDATE: The event is now SOLD OUT.  If you have any tickets that you would like to sell, please email me at webmaster@wpsc.net.  I have a waiting list of people looking for tickets.

IMPORTANT: There are only 750 tickets to the 7springs Halloween Party this year.  This event will sell out!

Tickets will go on sale to the public on September 22nd, but as a ski club member you are able to pre-order tickets on Thursday – September 17, Friday – September 18 and Monday – September 21.  Call 866-703-7625 and tell them you are a member of a Western Pennsylvania Ski Council Club and you would like to order tickets to the Halloween Party.  If you have any problems, send me an email at webmaster@wpsc.net

As far as lodging, the typical ski club chalets are available for $200 per night plus a 9% tax.  The chalets sleep 12 people.  For more information or to reserve a chalet, contact Nancy Rugg at nrugg@7springs.com or 814-352-7777 extension 7579.

Almanac Predicts Bitterly Cold Winter

Earlier today, CNN came out with a report that the Farmer’s Almanac has published its winter forecast stating that “A large area of numbingly cold temperatures will predominate from roughly east of the Continental Divide to west of the Appalachians.” They also predict that “February 12th-15th looks very stormy with blizzard conditions possible especially in New England but also going down to the mid-Atlantic coast.” The Farmer’s Almanac is a longtime periodical, published since 1818 and famous for its long-range weather predictions.
